National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC)

November 21-23, 2019 - NCYC is hosted by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) and will take place at the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This event gathers more than 22,000 Catholic teens, parish youth ministry coordinators, bishops, pastors, parents, school campus ministers, adult chaperones, coaches, scout leaders, and diocesan leaders to encounter Christ, experience church, and be empowered for discipleship. Recent Conference Proceedings:

Voice + Vision: A National Academic Conference for Ministries with Youth and Young Adults took place from July 31 - August 2, 2019 at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Steubenville, Ohio. This academic conference focused on Pope Francis’ new apostolic exhortation, in conjunction with the recent findings from the Fifth Encuentro, the Synod of Bishops on Young People, and the National Dialogue, with leading figures, experts, and pastoral leaders in the Catholic Church. Pre-conference papers and proceedings are available. Post-conference papers coming soon.

National Young Adult Ministry Summit

September 17-19, 2019 - The Summit was hosted by the USCCB National Advisory Team for Young Adult Ministry, and took place at Catholic Theological Union (CTU) in Chicago, Illinois. It was offered in collaboration with the CTU Bernardin Center. The goal of the Summit was to convene young adult ministry leaders to network, collaborate, and envision the future of the field. The Summit focused on Pope Francis' Christus Vivit and how it impacts the Church's work with young adults.

The Summit featured a live-stream for those that could not travel. The recording will be available soon.

The National Advisory Team on Young Adult Ministry hosts gatherings for all in the Church interested in improving ministry to and with young adults in the Church. Resources from these gatherings will be available in the future.
