Suggested Prayers of the Faithful during Lent for Peace in the Holy Land

For the peace of Jerusalem, that the Lord might inspire Israeli and Palestinian leaders to achieve a lasting and just peace, let us pray to the Lord.

For the success of our nation’s efforts to achieve peace in the Holy Land, that the Lord might help overcome obstacles to peace between Israelis and Palestinians, let us pray to the Lord.

For the Holy Land, that it may truly know the peace given by Christ, let us pray to the Lord.

For the peoples of the Holy Land who suffer from conflict, that their sorrow may be turned to gladness and peace, let us pray to the Lord.
