Diocesan NFP Coordinators, NFP teachers and directors of NFP teacher training programs are invited to review the implementation forms of the Standards for Diocesan NFP Ministry (posted below). The implementation process requires that the appropriate forms (with documentation), be submitted to the USCCB's NFP Program and an appointed Board of Review. Teacher certification is different and includes the active participation of the diocesan NFP coordinator (see below for details).
Upon successful completion of the review, the following awards are granted for a period of five years:
When ready to implement the Standards and apply for Endorsement or Approval, please contact the USCCB's Natural Family Planning Program at 202-541-3240 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If interested in Certification, please contact your diocesan NFP coordinator.
Please note: Adobe Reader is needed to complete the implementation forms electronically. Once the form is opened, save a copy on your computer's desktop. You will be able to type in the designated fields as you answer each item. Since most of the forms require documentation to accompany them, they should be mailed to the NFPP and the assigned individual members of a Board of Review when completed.
Endorsement of Diocesan NFP Program"Endorsement" is the award given to a diocesan NFP program that meets the Standards for Diocesan NFP Ministry. Only diocesan NFP coordinators can apply for Endorsement.

"Certification" is the award given to the diocesan NFP teacher who meets Sections II, III and IV of The Standards for Diocesan NFP Ministry. Diocesan NFP coordinators of Endorsed diocesan NFP programs should invite all local NFP teachers to apply for Certification. NFP teachers may also directly contact the diocesan NFP coordinator and request certification.
The diocesan NFP coordinator oversees the certification process.

Renewal of NFP Certification
"Approval" is the award given to the NFP teacher training program that meets Sections III and IV of the Standards for Diocesan NFP Ministry. Directors of NFP teacher training programs may apply for Approval.
