June 28-30, 2019: Theology of the Body symposium, Rolduc Abbey, Kerkrade, Netherlands. 2019 marks 40 years since St. John Paul II presented his first “Wednesday catechesis” on the Theology of the Body. This fifth International Symposium will be held on the week-end of the Feasts of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and of Saints Peter and Paul. It will discuss and promote John Paul II’s Theology of the Body within a general theme—Defending and Promoting Human Dignity in a Secular Age—centering around the 50th anniversary of the promulgation of Humanae Vitae. August 16-19, 2018, Teen STAR teacher training workshop was offered at the Franciscan Center, Tampa, FL. Teen STAR - Sexuality Teaching in the context of Adult Responsibility - uses experiential learning of the body's signs to facilitate discovering and "owning" one's fertility and sexuality thus supporting primary and secondary abstinence. Information at Teen STAR trainings also took place Sept. 13-16, 2018 in San Diego, CA, and will take place October 18-21, 2018 in Omaha, NE.

May 29-June 3, 2018,the Hildebrand Project hosted their 8th annual summer seminar at Franciscan University, Steubenville, OH. Entitled, Love, Sex and the Human Person, this academic seminar looked to the philosophical anthropology of Dietrich von Hildebrand and Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II to provide a foundation for thinking about love, sex, and marriage today. Both men sought to articulate a vision of the human person at once consistent with the deepest impulses of the Christian tradition and also informed by philosophical thinking that recognized the importance of the person.   • 2015 August 8: Contraceptive Conundrum: Effects and Side Effects, Georgetown University, Washington, DC. Vicki Thorn (one of the founders of Project Rachel), in collaboration with the Edmund D. Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics of Georgetown University's School of Medicine, is offering this one-day symposium. The conference is focused on the facts about contraception from a research-based point of view. It will explore the many negative side-effects and social outcomes.   • 2013 November 3: "Third Annual Fertility Appreciation Mother-Daughter Tea." Provided by FertilityCare Friends of Philadelphia, Generation Life and St. Mary's Medical Center.

  • 2013 November 1: "God's Plan for Life and Love." Hosted by the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS, in this marriage and family enrichment day features popular speaker Coleen Kelly Mast. Topics include: "Unity or Division in Marriage- They Call Us the Opposite Sex for a Reason!"; and "Raising Love-Wise Kids- Practical tips for educating children in sexuality so that they can remain innocent without being ignorant."

  • 2013 October 27: Father/Son Program. The Diocese of Memphis hosts this program for boys ages 12-15. The topics examine God's gifts of human sexuality and fertility as well as the goodness and wonder of God's plan for becoming a man of integrity.

  • 2013 October 26: Year of Faith Conference: "Contemporary Problems Related to Marriage." Hosted by the Diocese of Kansas City/ St. Joseph, MO. This conference includes presentation on the meaning of the body in marriage; so called same sex marriage; and the body and contraception.

  • 2013 August 12-16: Teen STAR Teacher Training Workshop.
    Teen STAR is a developmental curriculum which utilizes the experience of the body's fertility patterns to help adolescents discover their inherent value as made in God's image and derive chaste behavioral norms. The program teaches chaste responsible decision making and communication skills in the area of sexual behavior.

  • 2013 August 7-10: American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals hosted their annual FertilityCare and NaPro technology meeting in New Orleans. The theme was New Hope, New Life, New Orleans. This was the 32nd Annual Meeting.
