Christian Churches Together Annual Convocation

The 2019 CCT convocation took place October 1-4 in Montgomery, Alabama. Bishop Joseph Bambera serves as head of the USCCB delegation and as one of the five moderators of the organization. Described as “A historic moment of lament and transformation,” the participants discussed the evils of racism and strategies for moving beyond the remnants of racism that are still present in our society. A CCT pastoral letter on racism is being prepared for release shortly.
