Meeting of the National Evangelical-Catholic Dialogue

The National Evangelical-Catholic Dialogue met at the University of Mary in Bismark, North Dakota from Thursday, October 17 to Saturday, October 19.  With the retirement of Bishop John Gaydos, Bishop David Kagan of the Diocese of Bismark has accepted the responsibility of serving as Catholic Co-Chair.  Mr. Bonn Clayton serves as the Evangelical Co-Chair.  This year the discussion centered around the theme of Social Ethics.  The group discerned a number of important convergences on this timely topic.  The last round of discussions focused on Justification and resulted in the publication of the text, Justified in Jesus Christ: Evangelicals and Catholics in Dialogue, which is available from the University of Mary Press.
